SIXTH INTERNATIONAL ADULT AURAL REHABILITATION CONFERENCE
St. Pete Beach, Florida
May 23 – 25, 2011
CALL FOR PAPERS
The Hearing Rehabilitation Foundation (HRF) and University of South Florida (USF) take great pleasure in announcing that they will co-host the Sixth International Adult Aural Rehabilitation Conference in St. Pete, Florida from May 23 - 25, 2011. Is is our second meeting in Florida and the HRF is delighted to once again have the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at USF as a co-sponsor of this important conference. We are all looking forward to another exciting and informative meeting.
The past meetings have offered participants a unique chance to become aware of work being conducted around the world. We've had participants from Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, England, Ireland, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and the United States at previous meetings, and look forward to welcoming a large international contingent in Tampa. The meeting provides researchers and clinicians in the US with the opportunity to hear about what is happening here and in the rest of the world. The conference gives participants the chance to meet colleagues and discuss areas of mutual interest and possible collaboration. We will have a number of Invited Speakers, and also welcome submissions for presentations at the conference.
We are asking all of those interested in presenting at the conference to please prepare a proposal using the guidelines on the other side of this sheet, and send the requested details to the HRF (hearf@aol.com) by November 22, 2010. Please note that the usual length of presentations is either 20 or 30 minutes, but that we would consider providing more time if it is required. We want speakers to be able to present their materials fully and not be constrained by time. All those submitting an abstract will be informed of the outcome of the selection procedure by December 15, 2010. Please note that once again we will be accepting submissions for poster presentations.
If you would like to present a paper at this exciting conference, please send the following details to hearf@aol.com by November 22, 2010
